Hip-hop dance workshop- (Phys Ed. classes) 1 hour - 1 1/2 hours:
Our legacy One team will teach your students some basic break dance moves and a short choreographed piece. If the schedule allows we also provide a time for the students to showcase their skills by separating them into two groups and letting them battle.
Slam poetry - (English-Music-Drama):
Our Legacy One poets will teach your students the history of spoken word poetry, where it came from , and where it has evolved to. We will show a wide variety of spoken word examples and then walk the students through a process of writing, teaching them the basics of what makes Slam Poetry such a great literary art.
